The mission of the French Hotel Institute (IFH) is to train the next generation of hospitality leaders, resolutely focused on the future and internationally.
Becoming a leader
To train managers combining field knowledge and an entrepreneurial spirit, the Bachelor in Business and Hospitality (BBH) is based on three educational pillars:
Live out of the ordinary experiences
IFH's lessons are focused on the challenges of tomorrow that the luxury and hospitality industries will face.
Build your professional network
School is a place for learning, but also a place for friendly and professional meetings. IFH provides its students with a vast network of professionals (Meilleures Ouvriers de France, General Managers of Parisian Palaces, executives of multinationals, etc.). They also benefit from tailor-made support to find the best work/internships, with more than 100 partner offers.
Discover the world
The hospitality sector offers fantastic international career opportunities in a context of French know-how recognized around the world. The Institut Français de l'Hôtelage is resolutely focused on the world, and must allow its students to discover it. IFH's work-study programs have been designed to allow students to work internationally for periods of up to 6 months.
Learning to create
IFH supports its students in their professional ambitions, as collaborators of large groups, but also as entrepreneurs. Dedicated course modules, collective creative projects, an incubator and the identification of a mentor allow this. From the second year, students confront entrepreneurship and are invited to carry out from A to Z a hospitality or F&B project of their choice (Food Truck, Pop-up Restaurant, Pop-up Store, DNVStore, Pop-up Store, DNVStore, etc.). B), with the aim of operating a profitable business independently.

It is not a disadvantage. All applications are studied in depth by the admission team on the basis of multiple factors (grades, evaluations, extra-curricular activities and the motivations presented during the admission interview).
IFH Bachelor programs are open to all high school students, regardless of the field (general, technological, professional), and regardless of the specialisations/options chosen in Premier/Terminale.
Yes, IFH has a vast network of partners in France and abroad that it makes available to its students. IFH also has exclusive work/internship offers, reserved for the school's students.
Of course! IFH pays particular attention to the professional opportunities of its students. They benefit from personalized support in three stages: orientation, coaching, and networking with partner companies.
The selection is carried out in two phases:
i. Eligibility phase: study of the file (newsletters and CV)
ii. Admission phase (for candidates declared eligible): written test (writing and logical skills) and oral test (motivation, quality of the professional project, oral fluency).
The admissions team focuses on two areas of assessment: the quality of the professional project and the motivation of the candidate.
The IFH process is done on a “rolling” basis: once the file is submitted, it will be examined by the admission team within 3 weeks. In case of eligibility, slots for the admission exams are offered. After these, the candidate receives an admission response within 2 to 3 weeks.
IFH courses give access to all professions in the hotel and catering industry (hotel manager, restaurant manager, etc.) but also to luxury professions (event, marketing or sales manager in major fashion/wine/spirits houses) and to business jobs in the broad sense (financial analyst, entrepreneur, etc.)
Rates vary according to the courses. For more information please download our brochure.
