ALTERNANCE — Bar and Sommelier

Missions

• You are in charge of organizing and setting up the bar and offices.
• You contribute to the storage of wines in the main cellar.
• You are required to unload deliveries of champagnes, wines and soft drinks.
• You participate in the smooth running of the service at Bar by Ruinart, from aperitifs to drinks at the end of the meal.
• You ensure your role of advising customers during the meal.
• You prepare the orders taken in the dining room.
• You present, uncork and taste wines ordered by customers.
• You know the drinks and wine list.
• You serve the wines according to the rules and quality criteria, under the instructions of the sommelier.
• You transmit the history of our house, with its ambitions and its values.
• Proficiency in several languages is a plus (English, German, Spanish...).

Profile

• Bac +2 (BTS) — MC Bar or Sommellerie
• Languages: fluent French and English and possibly a 3rd language
• Rigor, organization, proactivity, professional conscience, professional conscience, autonomy, availability and ability to work in a team, adaptability
• Interest in the world of luxury and gastronomy (experience in retail or luxury hotels is desired)
