The missions

For our Maison Cheval Blanc Paris we are looking of an Apprentice Room for our Café Maxime Fréderic x Louis Vuitton (M/F).

The apprentice ensures the establishment of the point of sale and its maintenance in a state of cleanliness and optimal supply throughout the duration of the service. It establishes the relationship between the point of sale and its suppliers (kitchen, storeroom, cellar, stewarding, etc.). He assists the head of rank in his duties and ensures optimal customer satisfaction.

These functions are necessarily evolving in order to meet, on the one hand, the imperatives of adapting the company to its needs, and on the other hand, to the full development of the skills of the incumbent of the position. Consequently, these developments cannot be considered as a modification of the employment contract, since they do not lead to a reduction in the qualification of the job holder.

Main activities:

• Clean and set up the point of sale according to hotel and restaurant procedures,
• Participate in the service of food and drinks,
• Ensure the removal and cleaning during the service,
• Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of service equipment,
• Ensure the relationship with the kitchen, the treasurer, the cellar, the stewarding, etc.,
• Ensure the supply of the point of sale in order to make its conditions of use optimal,
• Have a sense of customer welcome
• Promote the various services and products available within the hotel and the Cheval Blanc Houses,
• Inform your hierarchy of any “abnormal” situation concerning the safety or risks of accidents of customers or colleagues.

Your profile

Degree/Knowledge required:

• Hotel/Catering Training
• Knowledge of HACCP hygiene rules
• Knowledge of luxury hotels or Michelin-starred restaurants
• Good food culture

• Excellent relationship and strong potential for representativeness,
• Excellent sense of welcome and customer service, courtesy and tact,

Know-how/Technical skills required:

• Sales and communication skills,
• Knowledge of the Office Pack and Micros is a plus
• Fluent English (written and oral)
