Missions
- Our Apprentice Sommelier is responsible for providing the sommelier service during his working days. This means that he must, among other things, tidy up and check the cellar of the day, check wine lists and provide room service in order to ensure that our employees can work in good conditions and thus allow our guests to have the best possible experience.
- He is responsible for assisting in the setting up of the glasses in the room and must check the wines by the glass and champagne by the glass.
- He will also have the opportunity to participate in wine tastings.
- Some of our hosts may have special requests or they may have chosen us for a special occasion. It is up to us to respond to most of these requests.
- Personality, Passion, Respect, Collaboration and Creativity are the values that guide each of us on a daily basis. The ambition of our Apprentice Sommelier must be to take action in order to contribute to writing our history.
- Communication is the key to the proper functioning of our services. Our Apprentice Sommelier must communicate with other departments and all hotel teams in order to ensure the same level of service.
- Sharing information is essential. In order to offer the same quality at all levels, our Apprentice Sommelier is specifically trained, both in the working methods of our establishment and those of its service.
Profile

- He is passionate about gastronomy and oenology. It capitalizes on the experience and know-how of our sommeliers.

- Our hosts shape our history. We need to do our best to know and understand them, using kindness and situational intelligence rather than following procedures.

- The main language of the hotel is French but our Apprentice Sommelier must be comfortable communicating in English with our international clientele.
