Missions
- Clean and set up the point of sale according to hotel and restaurant procedures,
- Participate in the service of food and drinks,
- Prepare hot drinks, fruit juices and various drinks made in the oven as well as baskets of pastries, toasts, etc.,
- Ensure the removal and cleaning during the service,
- Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of service equipment,
- Ensure the relationship with the kitchen, the treasurer, the cellar, the stewarding, etc.,
- Ensure the supply of the point of sale in order to make its conditions of use optimal,
- Know, implement and guarantee compliance with HACCP hygiene standards,
- Continuously develop a commercial attitude towards customers (reception, placement, cloakroom, service, departure),
- Participate in the supply of in-room bars and the establishment of customer receptions,
- Promote the various services and products available within the hotel and the Cheval Blanc Houses,
- Inform your hierarchy of any “abnormal” situation concerning the safety or risks of accidents of customers or colleagues.
Profile
Degree/Knowledge required:
- BEP/CAP Cuisine or BAC PRO Catering
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene rules
- Knowledge of luxury hotels or Michelin-starred restaurants
Interpersonal skills/Behavioral skills:
- Excellent relationship and strong potential for representativeness,
- Sense of customer service,
- Rigor, precision and attention to detail,
- Availability, flexibility and responsiveness,
- Team spirit.
Know-how/Technical skills required:
- First experience (internship or 1st experience) in catering in a luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Fluency in English and Japanese is appreciated
- Mastery of service techniques
- Sales and communication skills
